Family Coaching
Virtual Sessions Available From Anywhere!
Family Coaching may help you with:
Creating a smoother morning, bedtime, mealtime, homework, toileting, and transition routine.
Understanding your child’s nervous system and recognizing signs of regulation and dysregulation.
Learning co-regulation strategies that strengthen your connection and help your child feel safe, supported, and understood.
Building predictable routines and structures that reduce stress, increase independence, and create a greater sense of security for the whole family.
Creating home environments while supporting regulation, participation, and success in everyday activities.
Understanding what your child’s behavior is communicating while supporting emotional regulation, collaborative problem-solving, and connection.
Developing sustainable strategies that work for your entire family, not just in the moment, but over time.
Feeling more confident, empowered, and equipped to support your child’s unique needs.
Our goal isn’t to give you a long list of things to do. It’s to help you understand why your child responds the way they do and equip you with practical, individualized strategies that fit your family’s values, routines, and lifestyle.
Note: Family Coaching is caregiver-focused education and collaboration, it doesn't include OT evaluation, diagnosis, or skilled therapeutic treatment. Families whose child would benefit from direct therapy are encouraged to pair coaching with OT or other appropriate services.
Is Family Coaching the same as Occupational Therapy?
No. It focuses on caregiver education, understanding the nervous system, co-regulation, environmental supports, and practical strategies that can be naturally incorporated into your family’s daily life.

Family Coaching does not replace occupational therapy, medical care, mental health services, or other therapeutic interventions. It does not include occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, or skilled therapeutic treatment and should not be considered a substitute for individualized therapy services. Families whose children would benefit from direct therapeutic intervention are encouraged to participate in occupational therapy or other appropriate services alongside Family Coaching.

Many families choose Family Coaching because they:
Want additional guidance between therapy sessions.
Are waiting to begin therapy and would like support in the meantime.
Have completed therapy but would like ongoing coaching as new challenges arise.
Simply want to better understand their child’s nervous system and how to create a calmer, more connected home.
Our Philosophy
We believe children do well when they can, and that behavior is communication. Every behavior tells a story about a child’s nervous system, emotional state, or unmet needs. Rather than focusing on changing the behavior alone, we work together to understand the message behind it and identify supportive, compassionate ways to respond.

When caregivers understand the nervous system and the power of co-regulation, everyday challenges become opportunities for connection, growth, and trust. Lasting change doesn’t come from quick fixes, it comes from building understanding, strengthening relationships, and creating environments where both children and caregivers can thrive.

Our Family Coaching sessions are designed to help you build a calmer home, strengthen your relationship with your child, create sustainable routines, and feel confident supporting your child through everyday challenges.

You are the expert on your child. We’re here to provide the education, guidance, and support so you feel empowered, connected, and confident every step of the way.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone!
Parenting a child with unique needs can feel overwhelming. You know your child best, but sometimes you need a trusted professional to help make sense of the “why” behind your child’s experiences and provide practical strategies that truly fit your family’s everyday life.

Our Family Coaching sessions are designed to empower caregivers through education, collaboration, and individualized support. These virtual sessions focus on helping you better understand your child and families needs so you can confidently respond with strategies that foster connection, regulation, and long-term success. You’ll leave each session with practical, personalized tools that can be implemented right away in your home and daily routines, helping create a more connected, regulated, and peaceful family environment.

Together, we’ll move beyond simply reacting to behaviors. Instead let's learn to understand what your child is communicating through their behavior.
"You are the expert on your child. We’re here to provide the education, guidance, and support so you feel empowered, connected, and confident every step of the way."
